Four Feared Dead As Armed Robbers Raid Three Banks In Osun

At least four persons have been killed in Iwo, an ancient town in Osun State, as hoodlums on Tuesday raided three new generation banks.

The bandits reportedly stormed the banks at exactly 3:25pm, and raided the three banks, which are situated along Bowen University, simultaneously.

According to the eye witness, three policemen were killed in the robbery, while one of the robbers were killed by policemen attached to one of the banks.

While scampering for safety, scores of residents were also injured.

Meanwhile, the police have not made any official statement about the incident.
